Playoffs Round 2
East Haven had to
travel to the Madion Surf club for a battle with a Madisom team that defeated them earlier in the season. East Haven
was riding a 3 game winning streak. The game started off with madison receiving the opening kickoff. This was
the best play East Haven had all day. The hit sparked a fumble and East Haven recovered the fumble. East Haven
went three and out. Then Madison started driving the ball. East Haven could not stop them. They ran up the
score to 26 points in the first half.
The second half East Haven held the ball for most of it
but could not get in the end zone. The tigers played ball control when they got the ball and ran out the clock.
The final score was Madison 32 East Haven 0.
The coaches would like to thank the
parents for a very long and Proud season. The season ended on a low note, but only one team will end on a high.
We had lots of fun again Thanks you Parents.

East Haven traveled to a cold North Haven Home field. North Haven jump out on the easties
with there first possession of the game. But then the onslaught began. The easties would then run off and away
from the Indians with 24 unanswered points until late in the game when EH allowed a kickoff return for a Touchdown.
The East Haven defense stuff the Indians all day. East Haven which loss to these same Indians ambushed them for a road
victory and a second round playoff game. The final score was EH 30 NH 14.

Game 7
Another tight game for the Easties, but this time we were on the
good side of the score board. The spotted Milford 12 points in the first Quarter. Then they settle down and started
to drive the ball with Steven Reynolds, Micheal DeAngleo, and Little know Love. Milford was keying on Reynolds so they
decide to use Love. With the ball on the Easties 49. They started to drive using the combination of Love and DeAngleo
to start things off. That drive ended with a Confransco pass to Consigleo for a 20 yard TD pass extra point no good
6 -12. . EH forced Milford to put on there next possion. EH started driven the ball again keeping the Milford
off balance with a mixture of inside out runs and then Reynolds with DeAngleo leading the way punched in from the 2 yard line
kick was good for EH taking a 14-12 lead. EH took the lead into the half. The second half was more a fight with
each team trading TD until the final seconds of the game. With 20 seconds on the clock Milford was lining up for the
kick to tye the game, but the snap was bad and the EH defense swarm the ball carrier. EH defense had some let downs
which lead to broken plays for TD, but when the had to play tough in the first half until the EH offense got going the did.
The win keeps EH playoff hopes alive for another week. EH 26 Milford 24.

as the Madison C team cruised to a 20-6 victory. The Game open with Madison scoring on there first drive of the game.
East Haven tried to answer, but the defense stuff the Easties on the 50 yard line. At times during the game it seemed
like Madison Tigers were coming from everywhere. Midway through the second quarter East Haven managed to get a 50 Yard
TD run by Steven Reyonlds. On the next kickoff Madison returned the ball from there own 4 yard to the 50 yard line and
then proceeded to close out the scoring for the day and the half. The second half was a fight that neither team won
or scored.
Game 3
Game 3 featured a complete game by our East
Haven Junior Team. They operated with precision on offense and defense and even scoring on special team touchdown.
The second unit added a touchdown in the 2 quarter by Kevin Love with a 50 yard run up sideline. On offense our first
unit scored 3 Touchdowns. Sal Esposito caught a pass from Zach Confransco and took it the distance to start the scoring.
Steven Reynolds add a 3 yard Touchdown run late in the second quarter.
The third quarter started
with Amity on offense, and that meant the yellow jacket defense was on the field and boy did they do a good job all day.
They did not allow Amity across the 50 yard line until late in the 4th quarter. The half opened with Amity punting after
going backwards on the first 3 plays of the half. On the ensuing punt that was not fielded cleanly, Michael DeMarco
picked it up and ran it into the endzone for about 60 yards. That completed the scoring for this East Haven team.
